LIST OF MATERIALS AND TOOLS NEEDED

MATERIALS:
3.5 sheets of marine-grade plywood. (different thicknesses)
4m length of 230mm x 50mm softwood timber (12’ length of 9x2”)
two-part epoxy resin (approx. I litre)
acrylic sheet (for the windscreen)
varnish, paint and/or vinyl wrap
MAIN COMPONENTS YOU WILL NEED TO BUY
26” e-bike conversion kit. (Choose the most powerful motor you are allowed in your country.)
2 x 20” bicycle front wheels (plus brakes, discs, tubes and tyres for all three)
pedals, cranks, spindle, chain and sprockets
lights, switches, wiring, 12v battery
metal tubing, threaded-bar and various bearings and pulleys
various other small things like fabric, screws, nuts and bolts – but nothing very expensive
METAL PARTS TO MAKE OR BUY
(from 6mm thick steel or aluminium, following the drawings provided)
brackets for the front brakes
brackets for the back wheel
steering-wheel inserts
(8 parts in total)
TOOLS REQUIRED
You’ll need a jigsaw and a table saw (preferably with tilting blade),
plus a range of hand tools including drill and drill bits, file, rasp, clamps, metric tape measure, knife, chisel, hacksaw, sander, screwdriver, etc.
(Not essential, but the following would be very helpful too..
Hand-held grinder, small router, band-saw, bevel gauge, drawknife/spoke-shave, hand plane, (also, for the roof, a sewing machine.)
